“Ask an Expert”

Exploring Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) in the Early Childhood Classroom
Sallee Beneke, our April expert, has been a resource specialist for STARnet, kindergarten teacher, lab school director, college instructor, master teacher, prekindergarten at-risk teacher, early childhood special education teacher, and child care center director. Sallee is a frequent presenter at state and national conferences, and she has authored or coauthored books and articles on science and oral language development, the Project Approach, documentation of children’s learning, and calendar time in early childhood classrooms.
