Jill Moore
Early Learning, Champaign, IL

Jill Moore earned a B. S. and M. Ed. in Elementary and Early Childhood Education at the University of Illinois. She has owned and directed Early Learning, a private child care center in Champaign, since 1976. Previously Jill directed the Orchard Downs Infant Day Care Center at the University of Illinois for four years and taught infant practicum students in the Day Care Supervisory Program at the University of Illinois.

In 1987 Jill guided her staff to receive accreditation from the National Academy of Early Childhood Programs, part of the National Association for the Education of Young Children. Since 1994 Jill has served as a mentor to directors of child care programs through the Taking Charge of Change program at the Center for Early Childhood Leadership at National-Louis University. She mentors directors seeking center accreditation through the Statewide Accreditation Mentoring Project and is a Professional Growth Advisor for directors seeking the Illinois Director Credential.
