Education Specialist, University Primary School, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign
Michael Marks, M.Ed., has worked with young children as a teacher, program administrator, and tutor for over 20 years. He earned his Masters in Early Childhood Education from the University of Illinois. He has worked in a variety of settings, from university research projects to clinical settings. He founded and ran a NAEYC accredited early childhood program for 12 years. For the past few years he has been an early childhood specialist with The Reading Group, a non-profit reading clinic in Urbana. He is currently teaching at University Primary School at the Children's Research Center of the University of Illinois.
